Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SocialDash ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SocialDash is a social media management platform that allows users to schedule and publish content to connected social accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), generate AI-assisted content, and view performance analytics.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Violate the terms of service of any connected social media platform.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
  • Distribute spam, malware, or engage in phishing activities.
  • Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls.

6. Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs, account restrictions imposed by those platforms, or any content moderation decisions made by them.

7. AI-Generated Content

SocialDash uses OpenAI to generate content suggestions. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before publishing. You are solely responsible for any content you publish. SocialDash makes no representations about the accuracy, originality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

8. Subscription & Billing

  • Free plan access is provided at our discretion and may be modified at any time.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are issued at our discretion. Contact support within 7 days of billing if you believe you were charged in error.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

The SocialDash name, logo, and all proprietary software are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for the accuracy of analytics data fetched from third-party platforms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialDash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction, as applicable.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
